Eligibility Questions

This page of the form is designed to help you, and us, understand if you are eligible for Youth Sport Grant. It's crucial that you complete these questions before any others to ensure you do not waste your time applying for unsuitable funding.  

Will the applicant be 18 years of age or younger for the entire duration of the nominated sporting event? * Required
If no, you are not eligible to apply.
Does the applicant currently live in the City of Melville? * Required
If no, you are not eligible to apply.
Has the applicant been officially chosen by a State or National sport organisation to compete? (examples: Basketball WA, Football WA, Swimming Australia etc.) * Required
If no, you are not eligible. (not a club, school, or local association)
Is the applicant representing Western Australia or Australia?
If no, you are not eligible. Participation in a club team, even in a national championship (e.g. Australian Club Championships) does not automatically qualify as state or national representation.
Has the applicant received the City of Melville Youth Sport Grant in the past two years? * Required
If yes, you are not eligible.

If you are not deemed eligible please do not continue with this Application Form. The City cannot approve funding if you do not meet the eligibility criteria.
